Michelle Catania, LMFT
Marriage and Family Therapist
Hi! Welcome! It can be hard to keep your heart focused on God’s desire for a happy and healthy life. I look forward to supporting you in making clear, well developed and intentional changes for your aspirations to grow. Therapy can help with major trauma as well as everyday life stresses. I’m glad you’re here!
For 11 years, I have been a licensed therapist specializing in serving families who include neurodiverse children. As a preschool teacher for 15 years and an adoptive and biological parent for 19 years, I have both the schooling and life experience to serve families of children with brain-based disabilities.
I am licensed with the State of Connecticut and have a background that includes a Masters’ in Marriage and Family Therapy from Southern Connecticut State University and a Bachelors’ in Psychology with certification in Elementary Education from Franklin Pierce University.
I love my job because I can share my passion for Christ, and my love for families. I am also able to use a variety of creative therapeutic approaches for individuals, children, and families who are struggling through the demands of life and the pursuit of a healthy home.
