Suzylynne Williams, LCSW

Clinical Director

I love people! My love for this field began at a young age when I realized the brokenness and injustices that exist in our world. My desire is to help others heal and find true freedom from their trauma so they gain the ability to realize their God-given value. My own testimony fuels my passion for this work.

I graduated with a masters in social work from the University of Connecticut. Since then I have obtained my clinical license through the state of Connecticut. In my private practice I use CBT, CPT, EMDR and a variety of other modalities to treat each client based on their needs and goals. My desire is to help each client manage their mental health and trauma effectively so those things do not define who they are and what their lives look like. I have extensive experience working with complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and family systems with a focus on ages 12 and up.

Along with many years of private practice experience, I worked in education as a school social worker for 9 years. This experience allowed me to develop skills around serving teenagers, navigating the PPT process as a student and parent advocate, delivering professional development, restorative justice practices, social-emotional learning strategies, classroom management techniques and how to support teachers in working with students that have a variety of special needs.
